Feature Friday: Cafe Mosaics

Today we are featuring Cafe Mosaics, a fantastic place for tasty, plant-powered nourishment just about an hour north of us. Cafe Mosaic in downtown Edmonton describes themselves as a “cozy café… dedicated to serving a thoughtfully crafted vegetarian and vegan menu, featuring nourishing breakfasts, vibrant bowls, and hearty burgers —all made with locally sourced ingredients.

I love the vibe in Cafe Mosaic! If only we lived a bit closer, I would totally go there on a monthly basis, trying all the things on the menu. Their menu is super clear about dietary restrictions and is customizeable to fit your needs. I went with a vegetarian but non-vegan friend, and she and I both found it equally delightful. Breakfasts are all-day every-day, as they should be! We’ve been a couple of times when we were in the area for a concert and another time after going to a game cafe (featured in the future). We’ve gotten their apple cinnamon pancakes (amazing), the mac & cheese, bi bim bap, cheesecake and eggs benedict and would recommend it all. Their staff are super friendly and helpful, answering questions about ingredients giving off a patient, chill vibe.

Next time you’re in Edmonton, check them out! You won’t be disappointed!
