Milly Oak Café & Plant Powered Meeples
Milly & Meeples began in 2026 as a way to bring some fun to the small community of Lacombe, in central Alberta. After hearing the news that our local movie theatre was closing and we were losing one of the few social activities in our town, Plant Powered Meeples decided it was a great time to put a long-dreamed about plan into action. Since I don’t have the business acumen or financial capital to make my own game café from scratch, I decided an even better way to go about it was to partner with a preexisting café. I bring the games, & the teacher, they provide the space, food, & drinks. Win-win! Next time you’re in central Alberta, check us out!

Respect the Games
- Drinks & Food: Watch out for drink condensation; keep hands clean while handling cards & components.
- Components: Pack all tokens and cards neatly back into baggies and boxes. Double check on the floor for dropped pieces.
- Sharing: Return games to the central library shelf once finished so other tables can play.
Respect the Space
- Milly Oak has kindly let us share their space. Treat it and their staff with respect.
